Johnson Creek Historical Society Begins New Chapter After many years of searching for a place to call home, the Johnson Creek Historical Society has begun work on a two thousand square foot museum project. The Village of Johnson Creek has offered the society a 5 year lease on the old village garage located on Aztalan St. The building will be undergoing extensive remodeling and when complete will house the society’s collection and offer viewing hours and a permanent place in which meetings and events can be held. The society is currently seeking new members at this very exciting time. Memberships are available and are offered as a single membership at $10 or a family membership at $15 per year. The society meets bi-monthly at the JC Public Library meeting room at 6 p.m. on the 3rd Monday of the month. Anyone interested in joining is encouraged to attend.
